Meet Megan

My name is Megan and I am the owner and lead planner for Emerald and Ivy Weddings. My whole life I have had a love for planning, setting gorgeous tables and watching love stories unfold. From watching The Wedding Planner almost every day of my childhood, I knew wedding planning was something I wanted to do from an early age! I attended The University of North Texas where I got my bachelors degree in accounting + business, all while working 2 jobs in wedding related fields. One was helping to design beautiful bridal jewelry and the second was hosting and assisting with planning weddings. After graduating I began working in the wedding industry full time and began Emerald and Ivy weddings so that I could help make all my couple’s dream weddings come true with as little stress as possible! I believe in a wedding day where there is no stress on anyone and want everyone to truly embrace the day and have the best and most memorable time possible. With now 9+ years of experience and hundreds of weddings planned/coordinated under my belt, I am ready to help you design your perfect day!
